Personal Bio

E.D. Herman is an author originally from from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and now living in New York City. He studied Political Science and Psychology at Simon Fraser University, with his main interests being how people relate to one another, both at the individual and group level. These interests eventually meshed with his love of stories and writing to dive into creating a believable fantasy world rooted in how people actually behave.

He has also traveled the world, having lived in Canada, Taiwan, Japan, and now the US. He is fascinated by the differences between people around the world. In many ways people are very alike, and in other ways very different. He seeks to capture that sense in the stories he writes.

E.D. Herman released Twin Paths in 2018, and his second novel is to be released in 2023. He works on his novels in his spare time around his career in education and training where he has worked in various industries such as EFL, Accounting, and Social Media Management.
